Another torrent tech session..

Well im still dwindling under guest DJ status on Torrentech radio.. unfortunately with time being tight this month, i've not as many sets down as i would like + to become a full Torrentech radio dj :o(

the good news is I'll re-apply and hopefully become a full timer later in the year :o)

I really enjoyed doing this set.. i just slung it together - added some 303 riffs and 808/909 loops from the awesome rebirth... just shame it was mostly wasted on the dubsteppers who where tuned in at the time!! LOL 

decided to fill the silence this morning on TT radio!

which made for an interesting start to the set!

So we did a "bristol collective" radio broadcast lastnight on torrentech radio .. (22:30-00:00) we eventually got to broadcast but suffered a number of technical setbacks..

• Give yourself plenty of time if ur going to someone elses place to setup + broadcast!!
• laptop was patched to use WPA2 wifi networks (just sorted that)
  
• ran out of time to line up my usual list of sick choons ;D
  
• the mixer had "issues" with certain channels
  
• apple mac shell is crap for using with screen + irssi
  
• don't use [] characters in stream name, if you are expecting edcast to save the broadcast to disk!!!
  

so.. we had a great mix in the end.. mr paul walsh, Dj Arif and myself..
